The captain of a Beechcraft 390 Premier failed to follow the correct procedures for an anti-skid failure, resulting in a fiery crash
that killed five passengers, the NTSB said in its final report on
Tuesday. The jet was returning to Thomson-McDuffie County Airport, in
Thomson, Georgia, on February 20, 2013, when it failed to slow down
after touchdown. The captain initiated a go-around. Nine seconds later,
the jet collided with a utility pole about 1,835 feet from the end of
the runway, 63 feet above the ground. The captain and first officer
suffered serious injuries. NTSB Acting Chairman Christopher Hart said
crew fatigue was a factor in the accident.
"This pilot's inadequate knowledge of his aircraft was compounded by
his fatigue," said Hart. "As a result, five people died who did not have
to. Just as pilots should not take off without enough fuel, they should
not operate an aircraft without enough rest." The captain failed to
adhere to the airplane's flight manual procedures for anti-skid failure
in flight and did not retract the lift dump -- a critical system to
assist in stopping the aircraft -- immediately after making the decision
to perform a go-around, according to the NTSB. According to the
checklist for an anti-skid system failure, the flap configurations
available for the pilot were flaps up or flaps 10. Either of these
configurations would have required a longer landing distance than the
runway provided. As a result, the pilot should have sought landing at an
alternate airport, the NTSB said.
Investigators found the aircraft had extended flaps 30 on the
approach, which is prohibited by the anti-skid failure procedures. At
the time of impact, the flaps were transitioning through flaps 15.
Additionally, while both the airplane's flight manual and a placard in
the cockpit warned against extending the lift dump in flight, the
go-around was attempted with the lift dump deployed, making a safe climb
unlikely. The full report is posted online.

The wreckage of an airplane that was missing for more than six months has been found in Marion County
The wreckage of an airplane that was
missing for more than six months has been found in Marion County,
Florida, about five miles from the airport where it last took off, local
news outlets have reported. Daryl Burns was hiking in dense woods on
Sunday afternoon when he spotted the wreck. Skeletal remains were found
in the cockpit, Burns told The Gainseville Sun. The airplane, a Sonex,
was largely intact, but it was upside down, and the engine was detached.
Pilot Theodore Weiss, 74, had departed from the Marion County Airport
for Zephyrhills Municipal Airport on April 5.
Volunteers had searched the forested area multiple times since the crash, according to The Sun. The wreck site was only about 300 yards from a state road, but it was hard to spot among the oak trees. "Our helicopter had trouble finding it -- even knowing where it was," said Lauren Lettelier, spokesperson for the Marion County sheriff's office. The wreckage has been removed.

Flying Car Crash Cause Determined
Some tangled parachute lines, a seriously aft C of G and some kind of
air turbulence ganged up on a Maverick flying car to send it spiraling
into a schoolyard in western Canada in early May. Canada's
Transportation Safety Board turned over the investigation to the
manufacturer of the aircraft, ITEC, to come up with the cause and the
company's COO Troy Townsend traveled to Kelowna, British Columbia, a
week later to conduct the probe. By analyzing video from two GoPro
cameras onboard the aircraft, plus video shot from the ground by AVweb
and airport surveillance camera video, Townsend and pilot Ray Siebring
determined at least three independent factors contributed to the
stall/spin that ended with the Maverick spinning from an altitude of
about 500 feet into the playground fence of a school in Vernon, B.C., on
May 10. "Any one of those factors wasn't enough to bring the aircraft
down but they all added up together," said Townsend, who has hundreds of
hours on the vehicle, which is really just a large powered parachute
with a street-legal car as its payload
New Technology Will Produce Safer Maps
Pilots may presume that we now have access to accurate terrain maps nationwide, but in some remote areas, maps may be based on incomplete data or inaccurate observations that are decades old. "Mars is better mapped than the state of Alaska," Steve Colligan, president of E-Terra, an Anchorage mapping firm, told The Washington Post recently. Fatal accidents have been blamed on a lack of accurate terrain data that could have made a difference to pilots caught in changing weather in the mountains. Now the U.S. Geological Survey is leading an effort called the 3D Elevation Program, with the aim to chart all 50 states using state-of-the-art, accurate technology -- airborne lasers (lidar) or radar (ifsar).
The lidar (light detection and ranging) data and interferometric synthetic aperture radar (ifsar) data make it possible for the USGS to construct accurate 3-D terrain maps. "It's not an image; it's data," Kevin Gallagher, associate director for USGS Core Science Systems, told the Post. "That's what makes it so powerful. Lidar is like looking at the world through a new set of glasses." The project to collect all the needed data has run into funding obstacles, the Post reports. The effort to map Alaska started in 2010, but it's only about half done. High-quality lidar data is available for only about 4 percent of the U.S., according to the USGS. The agency estimates it would take eight years to collect data for the entire country.
Three Die In Midair At Frederick Airport (Updated)
Three people were reportedly killed Thursday afternoon at the Frederick, Maryland, airport when an airplane and a helicopter collided close to the runway. The airplane was a Cirrus SR22, according to WJZ-TV, and news photographs show firefighters with a deployed parachute from the aircraft. Two men aboard the Cirrus were taken to a Hagerstown, Maryland, hospital where they were treated and released. The three men who died were on the helicopter, a Robinson R44 that was on a training flight
Gilbert Porter, 75, a passenger on the Cirrus told the Washington Post that pilot Scott Graeves, 55, were getting ready to land at Frederick when they felt the collision. Graeves deployed the chute and the aircraft settled in a copse of trees."I'm very lucky to be alive. What saved our lives was that parachute," Porter told the Post. Both Porter and Graeves live near the airport and were returning from a day trip to Tennessee when the collision occurred about 3:40 p.m. The occupants of the helicopter were all found near its wreckage. They've been Identified as Christopher D. Parsons, 29, of Westminster, Md.; William Jenkins, 47, of Morrison, Colo.; and Breandan J. MacFawn, 35, of Cumberland, Md. It wasn't immediately known who was flying.
Skydiving Altitude Record Shattered
Following a nearly three-year secret development program, computer scientist Alan Eustace today shattered the world skydiving record with a jump from 135,890 feet, a supersonic free fall and a safe landing 70 miles from his departure point at Roswell, New Mexico. The previous record skydive was from from 128,100 feet—it was set by Austrian daredevil Felix Baumgartner during a highly-publicized event two years ago. Eustace, 57, is a senior vice president at Google and has been described as an engineer with a deep passion for details and as well as a team-oriented leader. Forgoing a capsule for the trip aloft and the millions in sponsorship money used by Baumgartner, Eustace worked with scientists with expertise in spacesuit design, life support systems, balloons and parachutes to create a system that suspended him in a spacesuit as he was carried up to nearly the top of the stratosphere.
On a comparative shoestring budget, Eustace used GoPro cameras to record the experience and an off-the-shelf radio for contact with is ground crew. An explosive squib allowed Eustace to release himself from the helium balloon. During his free fall Eustace reached a maximum speed of 822 MPH and generated a sonic boom that was heard on the ground. His technical team also designed a carbon fiber device that prevented Eustace from becoming entangled in his parachute should he not be stabilized when he deployed the parachute. The United States Parachute Association’s director of competition, James Hayhust, verified the record and said the jump was “. . . legitimate science. I think they’re putting a little lookout tower at the edge of space that the common man can share.”

Flydubai adds Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar to its network
flydubai's inaugural flights to Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar touched down today in Tanzania.
The new routes further underline flydubai’s rapid expansion in Africa, which has seen the carrier’s network double to 12 destinations this year.
flydubai entered the market in 2009 with flights to Djibouti, and in 2011 Addis Ababa became flydubai’s second East African destination. In 2014, flydubai added six new routes to the continent with the start of flights to Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda and three destinations in Tanzania.
Commenting on the start of flights to Tanzania, Ghaith Al Ghaith, chief executive officer of flydubai, said: “The United Arab Emirates has recognised the immense potential in the emerging markets of East Africa, like Tanzania. We continue to work diligently to support the travel, trade and tourism objectives by strengthening the direct links between the UAE and these African markets.”
The flydubai delegation led by Sudhir Sreedharan, senior vice president commercial (GCC, Subcontinent and Africa), was met with inaugural events held at Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar airports on 22 October 2014. Among the senior officials who met the inaugural flights were HE Janet Z. Mbene (MP), Deputy Minister for Industry and Trade, HE Dr Omary Mjenga, Consul General to the UAE and HE Samia Hassan Suluhu, Minister of State.
“The pace of flydubai’s expansion in East Africa has picked up. Six of the 23 new routes we have launched this year are to Africa. The potential we see for this market is just the tip of the iceberg as it is still a heavily underserved region. We are very excited about our new flights to Tanzania, which are going to be very popular for our passengers whether for leisure or business,” commented Sreedharan.
Tanzania has emerged as a noteworthy trade partner for Dubai recently and ranked among the major non-oil trade partners in Africa last year topping USD 1.86 billion in total annual trade, according to recent figures from the Dubai Chamber of Commerce.

Nairobi is Africa’s only city selected as a semi-finalist among 21 cities selected worldwide to contest for the Smart21 Communities 2015 award.
The contest is organised annually by the Intelligent Community Forum (ICF).
According to dispatch to newsrooms, Nairobi with a population of 3.3 million people was selected for its attractiveness as a top commercial hub for various multinationals seeking to launch operations in Africa.
Nairobi was identified for its readiness in provision of broadband connectivity, availability of a knowledgeable workforce, innovativeness, a vibrant advocacy culture and its digital inclusiveness.
“Not all of them are cities, towns or regions that people immediately think of as ‘tech cities.’ Tech is not all there is to a great community.
“They have launched programmes that are innovative and a full-scale revolt against brain drain and the creation of industries that will produce jobs,” said the statement by the ICF.
Kenya’s Nairobi is placed in a group of fast growing cities together with Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro, Japan’s Shiojiri, Astana from Kazakhstan and New Zealand’s Whanganui city which is home to 832,000people.
“We have started the search for Toronto’s successor. More important, our analysts have selected 21 communities that have shown progress in their attempt to make the leap to Intelligent Community status.
“The Revolutionary Community theme for 2015 is perfect for this group,” said the ICF statement.
NURTURE FUTURE LEADERS
ICF noted that with the number of unemployed people rising by the day, it had mooted a contest as well as a leadership academy to help nurture future leaders as well as entrepreneurs with essential skills on the creation of quality jobs.
Others semi-finalists include four communities from Australia, four from Taiwan and three from Canada.
Nairobi continues to attract investors in various sectors seeking to cash in on the emerging oil and ICT industries as well as develop high-end residential and office facilities to meet the fast growing demand fuelled by an emerging middle class clientele.
Others joining the fray are law firms from various regions among them Coulson Horney and others who have formed linkages with local legal firms seeking to help clients clinch deals, acquire existing businesses or form mergers as they plan to launch their operations in the country.
ICF says that the Smart21 announcement is the first stage in its annual Intelligent Community Awards cycle.
ICF selects 21 finalists with the potential to become one of the Forum's Top Seven Intelligent Communities of the Year based on nominations submitted by communities from around the world.

Family in shock over student’s death in US
US authorities have found the body of Abdullah Alkadi, the Saudi scholarship student who had gone missing from his Los Angeles home in September, near a highway overpass south of the city.
Alkadi’s body was found late on Thursday night alongside Interstate 10 east of Cook Street in Palm Desert, California, some 250 km away from his university.
Alkadi, 23, had been living in the US for nearly four years.
His last tweet, expressing distress, was published on Sept. 15.
Family members told local media that diplomats visited their home on Friday morning to break the news to them.
The Los Angeles Police Department Criminal Investigation Division has refused to disclose any details into the case until Monday and has not openly identified any suspects.
Family members have, however, reportedly told local media that two people have been detained in connection with the case.
A family friend also told local media that Alkadi’s brother, who had launched a tireless appeal on social media in search of his brother and who had eventually traced his mobile phone to an area with which he had no ties with, was too distraught to make any formal statements.
Alkadi’s father, meanwhile, is reportedly on the way to the US.
Poor Jeddah airport rating rejected
Pilgrims are seen at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah in this file photo. KAIA is undergoing massive expansion which would place it at par with the world's most modern airports.
The General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) has slammed a website claiming that King Abdul Aziz International Airport (KAIA) in Jeddah is the world's second-worst facility.
Khalid Al-Khaibari, GACA's spokesman, said the rating was done by a Canadian woman on her blog, The Guide to Sleeping in Airports, and was unscientific.
Al-Khaibari said the assessment was not based on studies or specified standards. He said the woman was speaking about the best airport to sleep and rest, while airports in the Kingdom are facilities to pass through. He said this was a personal view. “We respectfully look at other opinions even if they are personal.
King Abdul Aziz International Airport has all the services needed. We don't deny there are some negatives that we hope will be removed when the new airport begins operating in the middle of next year,” he said.
“The Haj and Umrah complex at the airport receives and says farewell to more than 1.7 million pilgrims on more than 4,000 flights over a span of only eight weeks,” he said.
The readers of the website had ranked KAIA as the second-worst after Benazir Bhutto Airport in Islamabad, followed by Tribhuvan International Airport in Katmandu. The rating was based on four categories: Comfort, convenience, cleanliness and customer service.
The website said of KAIA: “The main terminal is fairly lackluster. It isn’t overly clean, crowds can be a problem, and the services for travelers are in short supply.”
It added: “Rude immigration officers and lengthy queues do little to improve the traveler experience. Chairs are limited, uncomfortable ... Things might improve in mid-2015 when a new airport is expected to be completed.”
Boeing details funding boom for Middle East aircraft deliveries
Boeing has said that commercial financial institutions in the Middle East are increasingly funding the region's record number of airplane deliveries.
Boeing forecasts that airlines in the Middle East will require 2,610 new airplanes over the next 20 years, worth an estimated $550 billion. While one-third of that demand – 900 airplanes – will replace today's fleets, 66 percent of the demand is expected to be driven by the rapid fleet expansion in the region. Tim Myers, vice president and managing director of Aircraft Financial Services for Boeing Capital Corporation, said bank funding for airplane deliveries is becoming a global industry and the Middle East is playing an increasingly significant role. “Last year alone, more than 65 percent of all deliveries to airlines in the Middle East were funded from within the region,” Myers said. “Over the past few years we have seen great success by Middle Eastern banks and investors providing sources of financing for the Middle Eastern carriers, but they have been expanding outside the region by providing equity, debt, Islamic Financing options and more.” Myers and Jeff Johnson, president of Boeing Middle East, hosted more than 180 of the region’s leading aircraft financiers and investors at its annual conference in Dubai. “The health of the Middle East’s air travel industry and the sustained performance of commercial aircraft assets continue to create good investment opportunities, which was well reflected in the strong attendance at our financiers and investors conference,” Johnson said. “This regional growth is not expected to slow down in the near future,” Johnson added. “Dubai air traffic has been consistently growing between 5 and 7 percent annually, higher than the global average of 3.5 percent. Abu Dhabi International Airport reported a 21.7 percent year-over-year traffic increase in July, and Hamad International Airport has handled more than 2 million passengers since its opening in April. With key regional players making significant leaps in aerospace infrastructures, I have no doubt that the Middle East will continue to outpace other markets in travel industry growth for some time.” This traffic growth is being matched by growth in local aircraft asset financing. “We are particularly pleased to see increasingly greater diversification in the source of funding as airlines seek to finance these new airplanes,” Myers said
Ethiopean Airlines and ANA sign code-share agreement

Boeing and Kenya Airways partner deliver medical aid to Kenya
Boeing and Kenya Airways have partnered with First Baptist Church in Baytown, Texas, to transport medical equipment to Kajiado, Kenya, on a newly delivered 787 Dreamliner.
The supplies, including examination tables and other equipment, will benefit Kenyan children served by the Africa Inland Church Childcare Center in Kajiado. The center provides care and treatment for children with cerebral palsy and other disabilities.
The delivery marks the first time that a flight participating in Boeing's Humanitarian Delivery Flights program has originated from South Carolina. This is also Kenya Airways' first humanitarian flight in partnership with Boeing using a 787. The airline's last Humanitarian Delivery Flight was in October 2013 with the Kenyan-flag carrier's first 777-300ER delivered from Everett, Wash.
"As part of its sustainability for Africa program, Kenya Airways is committed to enriching the lives of the people across the continent," said Titus Naikuni, CEO, Kenya Airways. "The equipment to be delivered as part of this humanitarian flight will boost and ease the lives of the children at the AIC Childcare Center, and Kenya Airways is honored to be part of it. The continued partnership with Boeing has been beneficial not only to Kenya Airways but to the people of Kenya as well."
The Boeing Humanitarian Delivery Flights programme began in 1992, and has since then worked in partnership with nearly 50 different carriers worldwide to transport more than one million pounds (453,592 kilograms) of relief items over 150 humanitarian flights.
"We're grateful for Kenya Airways continued partnership, and particularly proud and excited to partner with them on our first Humanitarian Delivery Flight out of South Carolina," said Jack Jones, Boeing South Carolina vice president and general manager. "Their commitment to bring needed supplies to local communities is commendable, and it's our privilege to support them in that effort."
Ebo-Lie: Man Living In Ghana Confirms Ebola Is A Hoax!
By Steven Bancarz| A statement made by a man in Ghana named Nana Kwame has rocked the internet in the last few days. The following information needs to reach people. We need to see Ebola for what it really is. It’s time that the world wakes up to the agenda behind all of this hysteria. Here is what this man has to say about what is happening in his home country:
“People in the Western World need to know what’s happening here in West Africa. THEY ARE LYING!!! “Ebola” as a virus does NOT Exist and is NOT “Spread”. The Red Cross has brought a disease to 4 specific countries for 4 specific reasons and it is only contracted by those who receive treatments and injections from the Red Cross. That is why Liberians and Nigerians have begun kicking the Red Cross out of their countries and reporting in the news the truth. Now bear with me:
REASONS:
Most people jump to “depopulation” which is no doubt always on the mind of the West when it comes to Africa. But I assure you Africa can NEVER be depopulated by killing 160 people a day when thousands are born per day. So the real reasons are much more tangible.
Reason 1:
This vaccine implemented sickness being “called” Ebola was introduced into West Africa for the end goal of getting troops on the ground in Nigeria, Liberia, and Sierra Leone. If you remember America was just trying to get into Nigeria for “Boko Haram”. BULLSHIT. But that fell apart when Nigerians started telling the truth. There ARE NO GIRLS MISSING. Global support fell through the floor, and a new reason was needed to get troops into Nigeria and steal the new oil reserves they have discovered.
Reason 2:
Sierra Leone is the World’s Largest Supplier of Diamonds. For the past 4 months they have been on strike, refusing to provide diamonds due to horrible working conditions and slave pay. The West will not pay a fair wage for the resources because the idea is to keep these people surviving on rice bags and foreign aid so that they remain a source of cheap slave labor forever. A reason was also needed to get troops on the ground in Sierra Leone to force an end to the diamond miners strikes. This is not the first time this has been done. When miners refuse to work troops are sent in and even if they have to kill and replace them all, the only desire is to get diamonds back flowing out of the country.
Of course to launch multiple campaigns to invade these countries separately would be way too fishy. But something like “Ebola” allows access to an entire area simultaneously…
Of course to launch multiple campaigns to invade these countries separately would be way too fishy. But something like “Ebola” allows access to an entire area simultaneously…
Reason 3:
In addition to stealing Nigerian oil, and forcing Sierra Leone back to mining, troops have also been sent in to FORCE vaccinations (Deadly “Ebola” Poison) onto those Africans who are not foolish enough to take them willingly.
3000 troops are being sent in to make sure that this “poison” continues to spread, because again it is only spread through vaccination. As more and more news articles are released as they have been in Liberia, informing the populous of the US lies and manipulation, more and more Africans are refusing to visit the Red Cross. Troops will force these vaccinations upon the people to ensure the visible appearance of an Ebola pandemic. In addition to this they will protect the Red Cross from the Liberians and Nigerians who have been rightfully ejecting them from their countries.
Reason 4:
Last but not least, the APPEARANCE of this Ebola “pandemic” (should Americans not catch on) will be used to scare the countless millions into taking an “Ebola vaccine” which in reality is the pandemic. Already they have started with stories of how it has been brought to the U.S. and has appeared in Dallas, how white doctors were cured but black infected are not being allowed to be treated, etc.
ALL that will do is make blacks STRIVE to get the vaccine, because it appears that the “cure” is being held back from blacks. They will run out in droves to get it and then there will be serious problems. With all we have seen revealed about vaccines this year you would think we learned our lesson. All I can do is hope so, Because they rely on our ignorance to complete their agendas.
Ask yourself: If Ebola really was spread from person to person, instead of controlled spread through vaccination – then WHY would the CDC and the US Government continue to allow flights in and out of these countries with absolutely no regulation, Or At All? We have got to start thinking and sharing information globally because they do not give the true perspective of the people who live here in West Africa. They are lying for their own benefit and there aren’t enough voices out there with a platform to help share our reality. Hundreds of thousands have been killed, paralyzed and disabled by these and other “new” vaccines all over the world and we are finally becoming aware of it. Now what will we do with all this information?”
The original piece written by him can be found here.
A Liberian-born faculty member of a US university wrote an article on Liberian newspaper, the Daily Observer, claiming that Ebola is the result of bioterrorism experiments conducted by the US.
Dr. Cyril Broderick claimed, among other things, that “sites around Africa, and in west Africa, have over the years been set up for testing emerging diseases, especially Ebola.
“WHO and several other UN Agencies have been implicated in selecting and enticing Africancountries to participate in the testing events, promoting vaccinations, but pursuing various testing regiments,” he continued.
“Reports narrate stories of the US Department of Defense (DoD) funding Ebola trials on humans, trials which started just weeks before the Ebola outbreak in Guinea and Sierra Leone” Claims a report from International Business Times.
It also happens that the Ebola breakout coincides with UN vaccine campaigns. Pharmaceutical and biotech industries will have profited handsomely from the ebola crisis when biodefense-research generals, high civil servants and UN bureaucrats sheepishly sign multimillion-euro R&D contracts. It’s quite the coincidence that the earliest breakout in Guinea happened along side three major vaccine campaigns conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the UN children’s agency UNICEF. At least two of the vaccination programs were implemented by Medicins Sans Frontieres (MSF, or Doctors Without Borders), while some of those vaccines were produced by Sanofi Pasteur, a French pharmaceutical whose major shareholder is the Rothschild Group. Of course, the Rothschilds run nearly all of the worlds central banks and have a family network of around 500 trillion dollars. They are the ones pulling strings on this planet, and they will only profit from this outbreak.
Now, I am personally no expert on Ebola, but history has a funny way of repeating itself. Here is my prediction. Expect a false flag attack in the US as a way to further contain/control the population and kill them off in the process. The are going to announce an outbreak (which may actually the release of a chemical bioweapon, and not Ebola) and then they will start administering the Ebola vaccine to the population. They may even try to make it mandatory. DON’T TAKE THE VACCINE. This is how Ebola will spread, and this is how the will justify occupying other foreign countries and establishing military bases there. This is part of their globalist agenda.
Don’t think this is a conspiracy yet? Check this out:
Oops. Guess they forgot the cameras were rolling. Now here is where it gets weird. Did you know that the CDC has a patent on the Ebola virus? That’s right. The US government owns it. As reported on NaturalNews, The U.S. Centers for Disease Control owns a patent on a particular strain of Ebolaknown as “EboBun.” It’s patent No. is CA2741523A1 and it was awarded in 2010. You can view it here.
Patent applicants are clearly described on the patent as including:
The Government Of The United States Of America As Represented By The Secretary, Department Of Health & Human Services, Center For Disease Control.
The patent summary says, “The invention provides the isolated human Ebola (hEbola) viruses denoted as Bundibugyo (EboBun) deposited with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”; Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America) on November 26, 2007 and accorded an accession number 200706291.”
Why the patent? Patenting Ebola seems as odd as trying to patent cancer or diabetes. Why would a government organization claim to have “invented” this infectious disease and then claim a monopoly over its exploitation for commercial use?
Does the CDC hope to collect a royalty on Ebola vaccines? Is it looking to “invent” more variants and patent those too?
They think we’re stupid or something. 911 and Sandy Hook weren’t enough I guess. “Let’s patent a virus and test it out in Africa so we can occupy their land, secure oil supplies, and create hysteria back home so they all think they need a vaccination containing a live virus.” says the global elitists. The Ebola story has all of the ingredients of a classic false flag operation. If Ebola is real, why the “Ebola is real campaign”? What’s up with that anyways?
Please spread this information. Enough with the propaganda fed to us by mainstream news. We have testimony coming directly from Ghana telling us that the outbreak is being created by Red Cross vaccinations. This is a massive lie and manipulative effort by the US government for ulterior motives.

IndiGo places record order with #Airbus for 250 new planes
An Indigo Airways aircraft prepares to land at Mumbai airport. Indigo has signed an agreement to buy 180 Airbus a320 aircraft, the European plane maker said, in a record sale worth $16.4 billion. — AFP
Indian budget airline IndiGo has agreed to buy 250 A320 planes from Airbus, a purchase that could be worth nearly $26 billion and rank as the largest single order of jets from the European planemaker.
The airline will start taking delivery of the planes from 2018 and has secured rights to buy a further 100 A320-family aircraft, Aditya Ghosh, Indigo’s President, told Reuters after the announcement the carrier had signed a memorandum of understanding to buy the jets.
“We believe India is a highly underpenetrated market,” he said. “Some of these (new planes) will go to replacement. It’s difficult to say how many at the moment, but a lot will be for growth.”
Reuters reported on Tuesday that IndiGo was close to placing a large order worth billions of dollars for a variety of aircraft as it looks to expand.
The provisional deal extends Airbus’ lead over Boeing Co in the Indian market and could, if confirmed in the coming months, close a worldwide deficit in orders versus its US rival during the first nine months of the year.
A deal for the planes would be worth $25.7 billion at list prices, although airlines typically get a discount.
IndiGo, which sources have said is planning to list on the Indian stock exchange next year, has a fleet of 83 Airbus A320s and has ordered or taken delivery of another 280 Airbus aircraft — including 160 of the upgraded and re-engined A320neo model that will begin arriving next year. It was one of the first customers for the A320neo.
While rivals such as SpiceJet are cutting the size of their fleet to combat losses, IndiGo is expanding into a market where passenger numbers are expected to grow by more than 75 per cent in the next six years to exceed 200 million as more Indians fly for the first time.

Asia's Largest Business Forum Shines Spotlight on Bitcoin
Bitcoin made a prominent mainstream appearance in South Korea last week at a special session of the 15th annual World Knowledge Forum in Seoul.
The largest business forum in Asia, WKF is a prestigious three-day event designed to foster discussion about the future and potential major issues that may arise.
It also featured guest speakers including former president of France Nicolas Sarkozy, former Japanese prime minister Yukio Hatoyama, and leaders from various international organizations and some of South Korea's largest companies.
Bitcoin panel
A panel discussion and question-and-answer session devoted to bitcoin were included for the first time on the event's final day, organized in part by local company Coinplug and Professor Peter In, the Associate Dean of Korea University's Graduate School of Computer and Information Communications.
The Bitcoin Foundation's Jinyoung Lee Englund and bitcoin evangelist Roger Ver were key speakers at the session along with Professor In, introducing bitcoin to a crowd composed mostly (but not exclusively) of cryptocurrency neophytes and a selection of curious local media.
Speakers told of bitcoin's origins, current structure and promise for the future while acknowledging the technical and political challenges it faces.
Questions from the WKF audience included whether regulatory forces would manage to spoil bitcoin's promise, and how Korean businesses could benefit from using the technology.

Ali Mazrui and the Africans
We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Kenyan scholar Ali Mazrui on Monday 13th October in Binghamton, New York, following a brief illness. He was age eighty-one.
Mazrui was one of the idols of my youth. I grew closer to him in Jos in1986 when the university appointed him Albert Luthuli Professor-at-Large. Mazrui was Professor Jonah Elaigwu’s teacher at Stanford. Elaigwu was instrumental in bringing him to Jos. Elaigwu was also my teacher and mentor. He and the late Aaron Gana, Eghosa Osagie and Eme Awa of blessed memory, wrote the references which won me a fellowship to Oriel College, Oxford.
I recall enrolling at Elaigwu’s class Pol.201 Nigerian Government and Politics at ABU. Elaigwu was an electrifying performer who made us peruse the magisterial tome by James Coleman on the development of nationalism in Nigeria. Elaigwu is perhaps the best living intellectual stepchild that Mazrui has sired.
Ali Mazrui was born in Mombasa, Kenya, on 24 February 1933. The Mazruis were an influential Afro-Arab family that had held sway over Mombasa for centuries. His father, Sheikh al-Amin Mazrui, who had been Grand Khadi of Kenya, passed away when Ali was only fourteen.
Ali Mazrui was a late bloomer, having failed to get into Makerere, which was the only university in East Africa in those days. He worked as a clerk in a local academic institution in Mombasa. Debating and current affairs were his hobbies. It was in pursuit of that avocation that he came under the notice of the British Governor, Sir Philip Mitchell, in 1952. Before long, a scholarship was arranged for him to go to England. He attended Huddersfield College in Manchester for his A’ Levels. It was during his time in Huddersfield that he met Molly Vickerman who later became his wife. Mazrui attended University of Manchester where he majored in Government, graduating with distinction. He crossed the Atlantic to do a Masters at Columbia in New York, before returning to Britain, where he completed his PhD at Nuffield College, Oxford.
Ali Mazrui had the singular distinction of being one of those rare scholars who went from being a freshly-minted PhD to directly occupying a professorial chair. The distinguished political scientist Colin Leys was retiring from Makerere when the lot fell on him to recommend someone to take over his chair. To the astonishment of the intellectual world community, he had recommended the young Mazrui who was barely thirty-two.
Ali Mazrui authored 30 books and hundreds of articles in scholarly journals. He held visiting professorships across several continents, from Tehran to Khartoum, Georgetown and Jos. Until his death he was Albert Schweitzer Professor at State University of New York at Binghamton and Andrew White Professor-at-large at Cornell. He had several honorary doctorates to his name. In 1979 he gave the BBC Reith Lectures, a great honour for a scholar and public intellectual. He was also Chancellor of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. His television series, The Africans, won worldwide acclaim. President Mwai Kibaki of Kenya awarded him his country’s highest honour, Commander of the Order of the Burning Spear (CBS).
Ali Mazrui was dogged by controversy throughout his long and illustrious career. He had dismissed Kwame Nkrumah as a “Leninist Czar”. He glossed over the tyrannical antics of Kamuzu Banda of Malawi and the treacheries of Moise Tshombe in Katanga. His book, The Trial of Christopher Okigbo, caused quite a stir when it first came out in 1971. Mazrui criticised Okigbo for sacrificing his calling as a great poet at the altar of the parochialism of his recalcitrant Igbo people. Mazrui picked up a rather pointless quarrel with Wole Soyinka and Henry Louis Gates in 2000 over the film series that Gates, a professor at Harvard, had made on Africa. Mazrui described Soyinka as being a victim of “poetic hallucinations”. Soyinka, on his part, dismissed Mazrui as a scion of Arab slave drivers.
The political philosopher Sir Isaiah Berlin divided great thinkers into foxes and hedgehogs. The foxes are into a myriad of ideas and quick fixes. The hedgehogs are dominated by a big idea. Mazrui was a fox whose eclecticism was sometimes exasperating.
Mazrui was very much a child of the English liberal tradition, an “Afro-Saxon”; a term he himself invented. The world of the French Enlightenment philosophers was a closed book to him, as were, surprisingly, the great Arab thinkers such as Al-Farabi and Ibn Khaldun. For all his shortcomings, Ali al-Amin Mazrui was the most outstanding scholar of his generation.
He was also a great mentor to younger scholars. In 1970, his Secretary frantically walked into his office in Makerere, wailing, “They have taken away Okello”. Okello Oculi was a young lecturer in his department and also one of the budding young poets in East Africa. Okello would most probably have been killed by Amin’s goons, but for the timely intervention of Mazrui, who then arranged a scholarship for him to attend graduate school in Wisconsin. After his PhD Okello came to teach at ABU Zaria. I was privileged to have been one of his students.
Those of us who knew Ali Mazrui can testify that he was a humanist and a deeply compassionate human being. He was also a profile in courage. Two of his sons contrived a genetic illness that left them completely blind. It led to the breakdown of his first marriage. He was later to marry a Nigerian woman from Jos, Pauline Uti. Although he was Kenya’s most outstanding scholar, he was never given an academic post in his own country. In 2003 he was detained and questioned by American security authorities on suspicion of terrorist connections while returning from a lecture tour in Trinidad and Tobago. He bore the humiliation without bitterness.
Ali Mazrui will be interred this week in Fort Jesus, Mombasa, in the land of his ancestors. He leaves behind his wife and six children and several grandchildren. May Allah look upon him with mercy.
